Koscon worked with construction firms Astaldi Spa and FCC Contrucción SA on the "Basarab viaduct" project in Bucharest, Romania. The installation - which is the widest bridge in Europe - is a unique structure totalling 1,920 metres in length and 43.3 metres in width.
The roof of the tram station was covered with MACROLUX® C X.L. 12mm-thick sheeting, which provides unbeatable transparency, impact resistance, mechanical strength and exceptional lasting chemical and physical stability. For the whole structure, Koscon supplied 33t of material.
